Rent coming in April!!! wana go?

Hi all!!
What I'm looking for, is something unusual I do realize...
The awesome rock-musical of Rent is coming to Pittsburgh during the month of April. (It's not for the whole month, I think the dates are 14th to the 19th.)
I'm looking for someone to go to Rent with me on Friday, April 17th. I'll be buying the tickets in two weeks when they go on sell on Feb. 27th. This will be my first time seeing the show!!!! I can't wait!!!!
And yes, I will buy the tickets.. the best seats that I can get!! I'm going anyway, and I don't want to go by myself. I figure between now and then I should be able to find someone that is for real and would like to go.
I'm a 24 year old white female, with a huge wide scope of interests and hobbies. Feel free to take a look at my journal and bio to see!!!

I look forward to hearing from you! I'll go in to more detail once I find someone.. I don't want to bore people with a looong post about this.

Any theatres hiring?

Would anyone happen to know if any theatres are hiring for anything? I moved here a few weeks ago and I'm still looking for work. I am planning on volunteering at a theatre also but just wondering if there is anyone hiring for anything.

Play scripts?

Now that Jay's Book Stall has closed, where on earth does anyone go to get fresh play scripts?

Is there still someplace that's browse-able or are we all stuck ordering sight unseen from Samuel French, et al?

Merci!
Does anyone have any experience volunteering at any of the theatres in Pittsburgh or possibly know of one that would be a good experience to volunteer for, specifically in the area of technical theatre? I'm not sure where exactly in technical theatre at this point since I love pretty much all aspects of technical theatre. I'm also hoping that there would possibly be a chance to be hired after volunteering for a while but I'm not sure how long that would take. I just feel a bit overwhelmed with where to look to volunteer at. Any help would be really great. al
